CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY STEVEN NOLDER REPRESENTS BOGUSLAWSKI IN COURT
FOR BOMB CHARGES
WBNS-10TV News Report Interview with Steven Nolder of Scott & Nolder Law Firm
Andrew Boguslawski was arrested on January 1, 2014 when an Ohio State Trooper
pulled him over for speeding near Franklin County. Several guns, high
powered fire arms and homemade explosives were found when police searched
the vehicle.
Boguslawski, a member of the Indiana National Guard, (where he also received
a commendation), had been involved in training troops heading to Afghanistan
to prepare for Urban warfare. As a part of his involvement, this training
included the construction and detonation of these devices on military
installations for the past 7-8 years without the expressed requirement
of, nor actual possession of a licence.
Quoted in an article in the
Columbus Dispatch, Steve Nolder, his attorney said, “He added explosives to the training
because he had a desire to make it more real,”
According to the Columbus Dispatch, investigators found photos and videos
of Boguslawski and family members detonating various explosive devices.
Boguslawski was pulled over in Ohio driving from his father’s property
in Pennsylvania where devices had allegedly been detonated for amusement.
He had a concealed carry permit registered in Indiana for all of the firearms,
but the permit is not recognized in the State of Ohio.
Entering a guilty plea in court, in Columbus Ohio on April 1st, Boguslawski
now faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and a three-year
supervised release. No date has been set for sentencing.
